I was able to use my Back to School Owl Pack with my summer school kids! It was so helpful to use the sheets as an informal assessment to observe the student’s skills. Here is the unit on my TpT Store, and I am going to share the photos from class today using the unit.
I just love how the owl craft turned out!
Some of the kids added detail to the wings. 🙂
Here are the owl printables that I used to asses their tracing ability and to see if they are forming the letters correctly.
There is also a sheet to practice tracing numbers.
I am always interested in seeing the students’ coloring skills as they enter Kindergarten. I am looking to see if they can color in the lines, make sure there is “no white” showing, and to see if they use realistic colors.
“The Back to School Owl Pack” includes 9 worksheets asking the students to do the following:
-write your name
-trace your hand
-trace letters A-Z
-trace numbers 1-10
-write as many numbers as you can
-write as many letters as you can
-draw a self portrait
-color your very best: an owl picture
